Choose the Light Shelf Set, finished in a Natural stain for a warm, light look, or the Dark Shelf Set in an American Walnut stain for a deeper, richer tone — both are solid alder underneath. As real, overstock hardwood, each shelf carries its own knots, cracks, and grain variation; that is the character of the wood, cosmetic only, and it does not affect how the shelves hold up.
