OverEZ Mesh Partitions – Multiple Layouts Available

Overview The OverEZ™ Mesh Partition system from Illinois Engineered Products delivers a fast, practical approach to securing areas and dividing spaces in warehouses, factories, and data centers. Unlike traditional bolt-together wire partition systems, these expanded metal panels use Flip-N-Lock™ pintle technology that allows two people to assemble a full enclosure without tools, bolts, or professional installation. Each starter kit covers an 8-foot by 8-foot area and arrives ready to set up in minutes. Constructed from 16-gauge diamond expanded metal within a 13-gauge angle iron frame, these panels combine structural rigidity with open-air visibility and ventilation. The entire system is manufactured in the United States using 100% recycled steel, and standard grey powder-coated panels are stocked for fast shipment. For facilities that need secure enclosures without lengthy lead times or installation downtime, this modular mesh partition system is engineered to get the job done quickly and affordably. How the Flip-N-Lock™ System Works Traditional partition systems require bolting each panel to a post — a process that demands tools, hardware sorting, and significant assembly time. The Flip-N-Lock™ pintle system eliminates that process entirely. Panels hang on posts using an integrated pin-and-pintle connection, then lock into place by hand. The entire enclosure is secured with only four wing nuts, creating a rigid and stable structure without the complexity of conventional assembly. This approach reduces installation labor and makes the system highly adaptable. Panels can be repositioned or the layout reconfigured as facility needs change, without disassembling an entire enclosure. For operations managers and maintenance teams working on tight timelines, the difference between a multi-hour bolt-together installation and a tool-free setup can directly impact facility productivity. Specifications Mesh: 1-1/2 in. 16-gauge diamond expanded metal Frame: 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. 13-gauge angle iron Horizontal Reinforcing: 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. 13-gauge angle iron Post: 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. 14-gauge tube Pin: 5/8 in. Standard Finish: Grey powder coat (custom colors available) Compliance: OSHA compliant Origin: 100% made in the USA from recycled steel Available Configurations The system starts with a starter kit and expands through add-on panels, door sections, and specialty posts that allow corner turns and three-way intersections. This modular approach means you can begin with a basic two-panel enclosure and scale the layout over time as storage needs or workspace zones evolve. Starter Kit (OEZ-ST8): 2 posts + 2 panels — 8 ft. W x 8 ft. H (84 lbs) 4 ft. Add-On (OEZ-AD4): 1 post + 2 panels — 4 ft. W x 8 ft. H (36 lbs) 8 ft. Add-On (OEZ-AD8): 1 post + 2 panels — 8 ft. W x 8 ft. H (72 lbs) Hinged Door (OEZ-HD4): 4 ft. W x 8 ft. H (72 lbs) Sliding Door (OEZ-SD4): 4 ft. W x 8 ft. H (85 lbs) Double Sliding Door (OEZ-SD8): 8 ft. W x 8 ft. H (144 lbs) 3-Way Post (OEZ-3WAY): 1-1/2 in. W x 8 ft. H (12 lbs) Corner Post (OEZ-CRNR): 1-1/2 in. W x 8 ft. H (12 lbs) Stocked partitions in the standard grey finish typically ship within 4 to 7 business days. Custom powder-coated colors are available and ship within 7 to 14 business days. Applications Expanded metal mesh partitions are used across a wide range of industries and facility types. In warehouses and distribution centers, they create secure inventory zones and controlled-access storage areas that improve accountability without restricting airflow or visibility. Manufacturing and automation facilities use these panels to establish safety perimeters around robotic work cells, assembly stations, and equipment zones where personnel access must be restricted. Data centers and technology facilities rely on mesh partitions to segment server rooms and cage sensitive equipment while maintaining the open airflow that cooling systems require. In pharmaceutical and laboratory settings, these partitions provide a physical separation layer for controlled substance storage and restricted processing areas. Additional applications include automotive service bays, shipyard tool storage, oil and gas staging areas, and construction site material enclosures. Because the system assembles without permanent anchoring, it is also well suited for temporary or evolving layouts — seasonal storage overflow, short-term project zones, or facility reconfigurations that occur during expansion or renovation. Selection Assistance Determining the right mesh partition layout starts with the dimensions of the area, the number of access points required, and whether the enclosure needs to be a full perimeter or a partial divider wall. Barron Equipment can help you calculate the number of starter kits, add-on sections, and door panels needed for your configuration. We can also assist with specialty post placement for corners and three-way intersections to ensure a clean, stable layout.
