Our Native Bees Book

Our Native Bees follows Paige Embry’s yearlong quest to uncover the overlooked but vital native bees of North America. Blending conversations with farmers, gardeners, and scientists, the book reveals why these endangered pollinators are essential to our ecosystems and food supply. Embry joins experts in the field, searches for the possibly extinct Franklin’s bumble bee, raises blue orchard bees in her fridge, and visits creative conservation efforts like pollinator-friendly golf courses. Short, engaging, and eye-opening, Our Native Bees is a must-read for nature lovers and anyone curious about the hidden world of bees.
