Marzen | 6.2% Our amber Oktoberfest lager, malty and toasty, brewed with local Rabbit Hill Farmhouse Pils, Vienna, and Munich malt, then hopped with Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and Spalt, it brings layers of fresh bread crust, toasted grain, soft honeyed malt, and a clean noble hop finish. This is not a heavy, sweet amber beer. Otto has the rich copper colored malt character people expect from a classic Märzen, but it finishes clean, smooth, and drinkable after a long cold lagering period. Think toasted bread, light biscuit, gentle caramelized malt impression, floral/herbal hops, and a crisp enough finish to keep the mug moving.
