Otter Telescoping Shovel

The Otter Telescoping Shovel is one of those simple pieces of ice gear you are glad you packed when the wind starts moving snow across the lake. It is ideal for banking portable shelters, clearing slush around the hole, digging out a sled, or making a cleaner spot to set up before the bite window opens. The anodized aluminum scoop and telescoping aluminum shaft keep it sturdy without turning your sled into a gym workout, while the polycarbonate T-handle gives you a practical grip with gloves on. Collapsed down, it stores neatly in a sled or fish house. Extended, it gives you useful reach for quick snow work without hauling a full-size shovel onto the ice.
