Customer Reviews Based on 23 reviews Write a review What type of output is this pouch best for? This ostomy pouch system is ideal for individuals with predictable or solid output, such as those with a colostomy, especially when traveling or attending social events. What closure options are available? You can choose from three closure types: clamp, closed-end, or hook-and-loop. Each provides a secure seal, so you can select the closure that best fits your lifestyle and comfort. Can I check the contents without removing the pouch? Yes, each pouch features a built-in viewing window, allowing for quick and easy content checks without the need to remove or open the pouch. How does the two-piece system work? The pouch securely attaches to a separate skin barrier. This allows you to replace the bag as needed without disturbing the skin barrier, helping reduce irritation and extend wear time. Does this pouch control odors? Yes, each pouch is equipped with an integrated carbon fiber filter that neutralizes odors discreetly, helping you stay confident and fresh throughout the day. Is the material safe for sensitive skin? Absolutely. The pouch is made from soft, double-sided non-woven fabric that is breathable and gentle on the skin, ensuring comfortable wear during everyday activities. Can I shower while wearing this pouch? While the pouch itself is waterproof, we do not recommend wearing it in the shower. The hydrocolloid barrier may absorb water and swell, which can affect adhesion. How many pouches are included in each set? Each set includes 15 ostomy bags and 6 skin barriers. Depending on the closure style you select, it may also include clamps (clamp set only). Is this product reusable? The skin barrier is designed for extended wear, while the bags are meant for single use. However, with the two-piece system, you can change bags without replacing the barrier each time. Is there a satisfaction guarantee? Yes! All Vive Care ostomy pouch systems are backed by a 30-day guarantee, so you can purchase with confidence and return the product if it doesn’t meet your expectations.
