OSP HP Minnow

O.S.P HP Minnow The O.S.P HP Minnow is a highly refined soft plastic minnow designed to deliver natural baitfish action that bass cannot detect as artificial. Built around the concept of an I-shape worm, the HP Minnow produces subtle, realistic swimming action that consistently fools pressured and suspended bass. Its symmetrical body design, concave sides, and original V-tail create lifelike movement with minimal rod input. The bait maintains a natural horizontal posture in the water while the tail produces fine vibrations and micro movements that closely imitate a real baitfish. The HP Minnow is extremely versatile and can be fished with a wide variety of finesse techniques, making it a dependable choice when bass are chasing but hesitant to commit. Natural Baitfish Action The body is designed to move only where it should, eliminating unnatural movement that can alert wary fish. When retrieved slowly, the bait produces a stable I-shape swimming action, while faster retrieves create subtle wobbling and darting movement that imitates fleeing baitfish. The original V-shaped tail design reacts even to slight rod movements, generating micro vibrations that help trigger strikes. Escape Action Capability The HP Minnow 5" also supports an “escape action” technique, where subtle rod movements cause the bait to suddenly dart away, triggering the predatory instinct of bass that are following but not biting. A small bridge in the body slit allows anglers to adjust the action: Leave the bridge intact for tighter, controlled action Cut the bridge for wider escape movement Smart Design Features Symmetrical Body – Can be flipped and re-rigged to extend bait life. Side Concave Shape – Stabilizes swimming and reduces unnatural wobble. Through-Type Long Slit – Allows straight hook rigging for consistent action. Original V-Tail – Extremely sensitive tail movement with subtle rod input. Versatile Rigging Options The HP Minnow performs well across a wide range of finesse rigs, including: Weightless rig Jighead rig Drop shot rig Nail rig Free rig Carolina rig Split shot rig Small rubber jig trailer This versatility allows anglers to present the bait effectively from the surface down to deeper water.
