OS Giken SuperLock LSD, BMW E8X / E9X Non-M

The OS Giken SuperLock LSD features their patented pressure ring design, delivering smooth, progressive locking. Distinguished by a spline-through-side-gear construction, OS Giken's design allows for the fitment of more friction plates (up to 2x as many as competing versions).  Key Features: All components undergo chemical heat treatment for maximum durability Constructed from a high-grade steel alloy, ensuring exceptional strength Gears are raw-forged for maximum strength Clutch disks are precision-machined on both sides simultaneously to extremely tight tolerances, minimizing warpage LSD case machined from a single billet piece for uniformity The OS Giken SuperLock LSD allows for low preload while retaining a fully progressive 100% lock capability. This results in quiet operation, and the progressive locking mechanism ensures smooth and predictable engagement. Upgrading to an OS LSD when replacing an open diff will not only enhance the driving experience but also maintain everyday drivability.
