Orvis Battenkill® Disc Reel

Updated Reelfoot, Hand Feel, and Construction. The legendary Orvis Battenkill disc reel is built for the next decade. Orvis kept its non-negotiable reliability but tightened tolerances for a smoother feel. Upgrades include a better-gripping drag knob, a curved reel foot to protect your leaders, and stealthy new colors to match any rod from Classic Bamboo to a Helios®. Inside, the simple-to-adjust Hydros® SL drag system utilizes six carbon/stainless surfaces for serious stopping power. Built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with a ported mid-arbor look that honors its roots, it's a modern classic that easily switches from left- to right-hand retrieve.
