(03:49) — Nashville's ORTHODOX cement a foundation built through extensive North American touring, becoming a force in modern hardcore and metal circles with LP4, A Door Left Open (produced by Randy LeBoeuf—Kublai Khan TX, The Acacia Strain, Boundaries). ORTHODOX's fusion of chaotic rhythms, pushed-to-the-breaking-point riffing and explosively emotive vocals has refined itself to a bleeding edge proposition on tracks like "Sacred Place" or "Searching For a Pulse," with help elsewhere by Mastodon drummer / vocalist Brann Dailor, Boundaries vocalist Matt McDougal and Comeback Kid frontman Andrew Neufeld. ORTHODOX have truly pushed hardcore heaviness to a new level of brutality—and in doing so ensured the door wasn't just left open but blown off its hinges! "A Door Left Open" is available in the following formats: LP, CD Jewelcase and Digital Album.
