Organic Star Valley Decaf

Wonderstate Coffee's Organic Star Valley Decaf proves that great coffee doesn't require caffeine. Sourced from Peru's San Fernando region and naturally decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, this 100% organic coffee delivers the comforting flavors of cream, wafer, and nut without chemical solvents or compromise. The Mountain Water Process preserves the coffee's inherent sweetness and body by using pure glacial water from the Pico de Orizaba mountain in Mexico to gently remove caffeine while keeping flavor compounds intact. The result is a decaf that tastes like coffee should—rich, nuanced, and satisfying from first sip to last. Tasting NotesThis decaf opens with creamy sweetness reminiscent of fresh dairy, transitions through delicate wafer cookie notes, and finishes with a subtle nuttiness that lingers pleasantly. The body is medium and smooth, with a gentle acidity that brightens without sharpness. There's an inherent sweetness throughout that makes this coffee approachable and comforting, whether you're brewing your first cup or your last of the day. Brew MethodsStar Valley Decaf shines across multiple brew methods. As drip coffee or pour over, it produces a clean, balanced cup that highlights its creamy texture. French press amplifies the body and nut notes, creating a fuller mouthfeel perfect for leisurely mornings. It also pulls beautifully as espresso, producing sweet shots with gentle crema that work wonderfully in milk-based drinks. The forgiving nature of this coffee makes it ideal for evening espresso or late-night lattes without sacrificing flavor complexity.
