Sprouted Buckwheat Groats, Certified Organic

Organic Sprouted Buckwheat Groats. Not a grain. Not a grass. Something altogether its own. Buckwheat is one of nature's quiet misfits. It's botanically unrelated to wheat, entirely gluten-free, and more closely kin to rhubarb than to rice. And when sprouted, it becomes something remarkable. Our Organic Sprouted Buckwheat Groats are soaked and awakened until the seed just begins to germinate, then dried low and slow to lock in the living nutrition of that moment. The result: a crunchy, nutty, deeply satisfying groat with enhanced bioavailability of rutin, magnesium, and plant-based protein — and a digestibility that unsprouted buckwheat simply can't match. Raw enough to eat straight from the bag. Versatile enough for everything else. Why sprouted? The sprouting process breaks down phytic acid and activates enzymes that make buckwheat's exceptional mineral content like iron, zinc, and manganese more readily absorbed. It also concentrates the groat's earthy, roasted-chestnut flavor into something deeply savory and satisfying. On the table: Eat raw as a crunchy granola alternative or trail mix add-in. Soak overnight for a creamy raw porridge. Toast lightly for a nutty grain bowl topper. Blend into smoothies for raw protein. Use as a base for gluten-free breads, pancakes, and crackers.
