Organic Lavender is a flowering plant from the mint family and is related to rosemary, oregano, and sage. Lavender's flavor is floral and some consider it soapy. It is a common ingredient in the French blend of herbes de Provence. It can be used in baking, flavor ice cream, and in salad dressing.
