Organic Kombu Flakes (1lb)

Organic Kombu Flakes (Saccharina latissima) Our Organic Kombu Flakes are made from Saccharina latissima, a brown seaweed known for its rich umami flavor and deep nutritional profile. Gently dried and flaked for convenience, Kombu is a staple in traditional Japanese and macrobiotic cooking—perfect for broths, stocks (especially dashi), soups, stews, marinades, and fermentation recipes. Naturally high in iodine, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and laminarin (a beneficial polysaccharide), Kombu supports thyroid function, digestive health, and overall wellness. Certified USDA Organic, these clean, additive-free flakes are ideal for chefs, food manufacturers, and health-conscious consumers. 💲 Available in bulk by the pound with tiered pricing—perfect for foodservice and wholesale. 📦 Bulk orders are packed in a food-grade liner bag with basic labeling (product name, weight, lot number, and best if used by date) and do not include full retail labelling—ideal for food & pet food manufacturers, foodservice, and large-scale use.
