Organic Festulolium, Rye Fescue (lb)

Festulolium (rye fescue) is a relatively new forage grass developed by crossing a fescue (meadow fescue or tall fescue) with a ryegrass (perennial or Italian). We offer the Perun variety, which is a cross of 80% Italian Ryegrass with 20% Meadow Fescue. The cross combines the cold resistance and drought tolerance of the meadow fescue with the rapid establishment, good spring growth and palatability of the Italian ryegrass. Perun has good heat and cold tolerance and good disease resistance. Application Rate: 18-22 lb/acre or 1-2 lb/1000 sq ft.
