Organic Fair Trade Peru

Grown on the foothills of the Northern Andes Mountains, at an altitude between 3,900 to 5,900 feet, our Organic Peru is shade grown in volcanic soil by small farming communities in the region of Lambayeque, Cajamarca, San Martin and the Amazonas, grouped together in a cooperative called Cecanor. Many of the members are indigenous Quechua; a group that pre-dates the Inca civilization with coffee being their main source of livelihood. Note Floral and spice aroma, medium body, notes of nuts, dark chocolate and maple syrup with balanced acidity.
