Orange Bumper Satsuma

Bumper® Satsuma Mandarin is a highly productive, heavy-yielding mandarin variety named for its tendency to produce "bumper crops" of sweet, seedless fruit. Developed to combine the cold hardiness of traditional Satsumas with reliable commercial-grade output, it is an excellent choice for home orchards and edible landscapes in warm-temperate regions.True to its name, this variety produces massive clusters of medium-sized, bright orange fruit—often bearing so heavily that lower branches require propping or staking to prevent bending or snapping under the weight. The oranges feature loose, pliable "zipper" skin that peels effortlessly in one piece. The internal flesh is tender, exceptionally juicy, and completely seedless. The oranges offer a rich, traditional Satsuma flavor profile with a pleasant balance of sweetness and mild acidity.
