Opus One Overture 2022

Opus One Overture (2022 Release): A Timeless Expression of the Estate Experience the second wine of Napa Valley's most iconic estate. Nestor Liquor, your preferred partner for fine wines, is proud to present Opus One Overture (2022 Release). This non-vintage Bordeaux-style blend is a true reflection of the Opus One estate vineyards, capturing the essence of the terroir across multiple vintages. Overture is crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail as the flagship Opus One. It is a blend of the five classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. However, unlike its vintage-dated counterpart, Overture is a multi-vintage blend. This allows the winemakers to achieve a consistent, approachable, and generous style by marrying the nuances of different harvest years. The 2022 release continues the tradition of extended aging in French oak, resulting in a wine that is supple, complex, and ready to enjoy upon release. It offers a softer, rounder profile than the flagship wine while maintaining the elegance and structure synonymous with the Opus One name. Tasting Notes: Nose: Expressive and fresh, with vibrant aromas of bright cherry and red currant, layered with earthy notes of cocoa, cedar, and vanilla. Palate: Supple and silky. The palate is generous with flavors of black cherry, cassis, and blueberry, balanced by soft, fine-grained tannins and a touch of savory spice. Finish: Long and graceful, leaving a lasting impression of dark fruit and elegant oak. This is the perfect introduction to the Opus One estate or a versatile, high-quality addition to any cellar. As your trusted retailer, Nestor Liquor is your premier destination for this exceptional multi-vintage blend. Secure your bottle of Opus One Overture today.
