Optimum Yellow Beveled Waffle Foam Pad (Heavy Polishing)

NEW BEVELED DESIGN Our new Yellow pad cuts better than our medium orange pads and finishes just as well. It is the perfect one-step pad. Optimum Yellow Beveled Waffle Foam Pad is a great one step cutting pad that can be used with Optimum DA Polisher to remove 2,000 grit or finer wet sanding marks and deep scratches and swirl marks in one or two passes. The beveled waffle design with center cooling hole as well as the breathable backing plate of Optimum DA Polisher keeps the surface cool to avoid burnishing the paint that is caused by over-heating the surface. Directions: To remove 2,000 grit or finer sanding marks spray Optimum Hyper Compound on the Optimum Yellow Waffle Foam Pad using Optimum DA Polisher at speed of 3-4 or a rotary buffer at 600-1000 RPM. This combination will remove (not hide) scratches after 1-2 passes and leave a finish with minor marring that is free of swirl marks. By reducing the pressure on the pad, you can remove the swirl marks as you are finishing down. Follow up with Optimum Hyper Polish and Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad to refine the paint surface before applying Optimum Car Wax, Opti-Seal, Hyper Seal or Ceramic Coating.
