Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait is a high-performance roach bait designed for targeted cockroach control in residential, commercial and institutional environments. Formulated with emamectin benzoate 0.1%, this ready-to-use gel bait provides a different active ingredient option for cockroach management programs and is especially valuable for rotation strategies. The syringe format allows precise placement in cracks, crevices, wall voids, corners, baseboards, plumbing areas, equipment gaps and other cockroach harborages. Optigard can be used indoors and outdoors in approved areas, including homes, apartments, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, supermarkets, warehouses, food-processing plants and transportation equipment. For best results, apply multiple small bait spots near known cockroach activity. Smaller, well-distributed placements help cockroaches find the bait faster and can improve control, particularly in German cockroach infestations. Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait is also a strong partner in rotational baiting programs with products such as Advion Evolution or Advion Cockroach Gel Bait, helping reduce repeated reliance on a single insecticide group. Optigard Cockroach Gel Bait is a professional-grade, ready-to-use roach bait formulated to control cockroaches in residential, commercial, institutional, agricultural and industrial settings. Powered by emamectin benzoate 0.1%, this advanced gel bait affects cockroaches through the nervous and muscular systems, helping deliver fast, targeted control in areas where roaches hide, feed and travel. Designed for crack-and-crevice and void-space applications, Optigard is ideal for treating kitchens, apartments, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, food-handling facilities, warehouses, transportation equipment and other areas where cockroach activity is present. Its Group 6 insecticide chemistry makes it a valuable option for cockroach bait rotation programs, especially when alternating with products from different insecticide groups to help support long-term resistance management. Do not place bait where children, pets or livestock can access it. Focus on areas where cockroaches hide, travel or feed. Do not apply directly to food-preparation surfaces. Reinspect bait placements during follow-up visits. Do not contaminate food, utensils or processing surfaces. Reapply when bait is no longer visible. Do not spray repellent insecticide directly over bait. Allow non-repellent sprays to dry before applying bait nearby. Do not apply in or around electrical equipment.
