OPST Commando Head

OPST Commando Heads — The Ultimate Skagit Line for Single and Two-Handed Rods Born from decades of innovation in Sustained Anchor Systemology (SAS) by legendary Skagit pioneer Ed Ward, OPST’s Commando Heads are not just lines — they’re a revolution in fly fishing performance. Cast Anywhere. Fish Everywhere. OPST Commando Heads are engineered to maximize the performance of shorter spey rods, switch rods, and single-hand fly rods. With their ultra-short, compact design, these lines excel where traditional lines fall short — in tight casting quarters, high wind, and when throwing heavy flies. At first glance, their length might surprise you. But that’s where the magic lies. The shortened head provides unmatched efficiency, effortless rod loading, and surgical control — making Commando Heads the most fishable Skagit lines on the market today.
