Opportunity Druzy Studs, China

These beautiful earrings were handmade by survivors of human trafficking in China.  They feature a druzy stone encased in a 14k gold-plated stainless steel cylinder.   Please note that the stone will take on different colors according to the light, so may appear pink, white, cream, etc.  See photos for examples. The purchase of these earrings is equivalent to the cost of 1 week of computer classes for an exploited woman.    Measure approximately .33" in diameter. All of our products are shipped with cards containing information about fair trade and the corresponding artisan group. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This piece of jewelry is made in a fair trade cooperative in China by survivors of human trafficking.  The women have survived horrific abuse but are now living lives of freedom. They are working with an organization that provides them with a safe haven as well as healthcare, education, counseling, job training and employment.  They are learning a trade that empowers them to remain free forever from abuse.
