Note - two weights of yarn are used - the heavier yarn for the central panel and ribs, the lighter yarn for the rest. Both get the same gauge, but it is very important that you use 2 weights. This piece is seamless. The front & back panels are worked separately to the neck, then joined. Then the collar is worked in the round. Each side/sleeve is picked up on the sides on the center panels & worked in the round. My goal for this collection was to design interesting modern pieces that are easy and relaxing to knit. I reduced seaming, kept shaping easy to remember and placed pattern where it remains uninterrupted. A broad range of sizes coupled with novel shapes combine to make a collection meant to appeal to eclectic knitters of all ages. I look forward to seeing how each knitter makes the patterns their own.
