OPEN U.P.PER. CONCE.PT Chassis

The OPEN U.P.PER. CONCE.PT Chassis takes the design of the original OPEN U.P. gravel bike and faster, lighter, and more aerodynamic than ever. This chassis represents the pinnacle of OPEN’s gravel innovation, balancing aerodynamics, comfort, and compliance for versatile performance across varied terrains. It features a streamlined, aero-optimized front end with a deep headtube, which cuts through the wind while maintaining the frame’s signature comfort. Despite the aero enhancements, the U.P.PER. CONCE.PT remains comfortable on long gravel rides or on the road. Tire clearance is key for a gravel bike’s versatility, and the U.P.PER. CONCE.PT is optimized for 35-44mm tires while maintaining responsiveness and control. A straight chainstay design maximizes power transfer while still accommodating wide tires, making the bike ideal for varied conditions. Ultra-thin, bowed wire stay seatstays absorb road vibrations for a smoother ride, using a rotated flex direction to enhance compliance. The round 27.2mm seatpost might seem like a simple choice, but it provides a perfect blend of lightness, compatibility, and comfort, supporting options for dropper or suspension posts if needed. The U.P.PER. CONCE.PT is built with ease of use and versatility in mind, featuring a T47 threaded bottom bracket and UDH compatibility for integration with any standard drivetrain, including SRAM’s Transmission direct-mount options. The bike’s internal cable routing is designed for hassle-free cockpit adjustments, ensuring a clean look and reducing maintenance time. Smartmount brake systems at both the front and rear eliminate the need for adaptors, providing a stiffer, lighter, and more reliable setup for consistent braking performance. The broad-shouldered dropouts make wheel installation easier, offering enhanced support and alignment, particularly important for thru-axle setups. Every aspect of the U.P.PER. CONCE.PT was engineered for size-specific performance, with tailored tube shapes, fork crowns, and carbon layups ensuring the same responsive handling and stiffness across both the available sizes. This commitment to customization, combined with the frame’s Portuguese craftsmanship, highlights OPEN’s dedication to quality and rider experience. The OPEN U.P.PER is back and faster than ever with an incredibly lightweight aero frame that rings speed on or off the road.
