Open Sky Eye Serum

Description: 1oz l 30ml Is the skin around your eyes crying out for some quick TLC? Whether you were out late on a date, have an early morning roll call, or need a soothing infusion after a day of working on a computer, this toning, depuffing, and revivifying blend will have your eyes sparkling once again! Open Sky Eye Serum fortifies, freshens, and tones delicate periorbital skin with the cool, blue firming fluid of pure lipids and bioactive botanicals, creating a super saturation of organic hydration right where the skin is thin. A rejuvenating nectar for tired eyes, puffy skin, dark circles, and fine lines, this cooling dew soothes the eye and brow area. This fortifying eye-area elixir is a soothing symphony in periorbital alchemy, where the precise molecular magic of fragrant phytochemicals nourishes the thinnest, most delicate dermal biome on the face. By anchoring the blend in skin-synergizing linear esters of golden Jojoba, the serum builds an immediate, weightless, and breathable lipid barrier. Suspended within this plush hydration is a botanical blue-triumvirate of German Chamomile, Cape Chamomile, and Blue Tansy, rich in calming chamazulene, a legendary, deep-indigo antioxidant that acts as a blue antidote to dermal redness. When this sapphire core merges with the fortitude of Frankincense, the skin salvation of Rose Otto, classically cool Peppermint, the lullaby of Lavender, and the gentle astringency of Sweet Thyme, a soothing periorbital melody is made. This true-blue beauty tonic is a faithful friend that eases the appearance of reactive, sleep-deprived, and strained tissues, which once graced by this botanical nectar find a dewy homeostasis, unveiling a luminous, clear complexion. KEY BIOACTIVES: Jojoba Oil — Simmondsia chinensis Glorious, golden Jojoba quenches and conditions the skin with a molecular structure that mirrors human sebum. Differing from all other plant lipids, Jojoba oil is a liquid plant wax composed of long-chain linear esters, making it the most skin-congruent lipid in the plant kingdom. It is rich in phenolic compounds, phospholipids, and all forms of vitamin E (tocopherols) that provide a structural, breathable barrier for the ultra-delicate skin around the eyes. Jojoba has an unparalleled ability to "unplug" pores by dissolving hardened, oxidized lipids, while its native ceramide content reinforces the skin’s moisture seal to soften the texture into perfect silk. Its high concentration of eicosenoic acid ensures it resists oxidation, acting as a stable, bio-available, breathable shield that integrates seamlessly with the dermal biome. Virgin Coconut Oil — Cocos nucifera Our pure, pristine Virgin Coconut oil satiates the skin, offering a manna of moisture and resilience to thin under-eye tissues. Differing from refined, fractionated oils, our raw, organic, virgin extract is rich in lauric acid, an antimicrobial medium-chain fatty acid that naturally helps with blemish-causing bacteria. When formulated with quality botanicals, it smoothes the appearance of fine lines while fortifying the skin’s innate immunity. Rose Otto — Rosa damascena Resplendent Rose Otto is the distilled "Heart’s Halo" and the beloved skin-salve of antiquity. Prized by the Persians, Romans, Egyptians, and Greeks long before modernity, this essence was sought for skincare, perfumery, and spirit for a scent said to be the "fragrant wake from the flutter of angels’ wings." Avicenna, the 10th-century physician-philosopher who thankfully perfected the art of rose distillation, lauded this essence in his Canon of Medicine for its ability to "strengthen the skin’s nature" and clear the complexion. As the highest vibrational essence in the botanical kingdom, Rose Otto offers an elegant, alchemical synergy that enhances dermal resiliency and elasticity around the eyes. Redolent in fragrant floral alcohols and over 300 molecular compounds, it acts as a timeless tonic for microstimulating the skin, cooling the appearance of shadows, and soothing delicate capillaries. Peppermint — Mentha piperita The Cool Camphorous Companion. Driven by natural menthol, classic Peppermint offers an immediate crisp, clean relief that is a total wake-up call for tired eyes. It creates a dynamic dermal "vasoconstriction-to-vasodilation" loop—that unique, brilliant sensation where the skin feels icy cold before a circulating warmth surfaces. This ice-action loop works beautifully to encourage stagnant fluids to move, instantly easing the appearance of heavy morning puffiness, cooling inflammation, and reviving tired, strained eyes with crisp botanical energy. German Chamomile — Matricaria recutita This cobalt-colored Chamomile essential oil is the inky-blue "go-to" for addressing dermal distress. The botanical name Matricaria recutita means “mother’s plant that blooms again,” honoring this chamomile’s legacy as a comforting herbal helper. The oil's signature blue dew drops are saturated in a substantial 45% concentration of trans-beta-farnesene, a sesquiterpene that defines its deep oceanic calm. Working in tandem is the very special compound chamazulene. While it doesn’t exist in the fresh plant itself, this intense blue compound is miraculously born during the gentle steam distillation process. Chamazulene is a legendary antioxidant; its sapphire hue serves as the ultimate soothing antidote for anything red, hot, or irritated around the periorbital area. Combined with alpha-bisabolol (10%), German Chamomile stands as a true-blue "dermal do-all" to ease shadows and smooth textural irritation. Its scent is deep and sweet, described as herbaceous-tobacco-like and slightly fruity, with a rich, comforting, hay-like sweetness. Blue Tansy — Tanacetum annuum Blue Tansy is a botanical treasure of phytochemical finesse. While it shares the indigo hue of the German variety, its quintessential calm is uniquely anchored by a significant concentration of sabinene (20%) and myrcene (5%). It also contains a robust chamazulene content averaging up to 11% depending on the harvest, though it is completely without the alpha-bisabolol found in German Chamomile. Containing a rare chamazulene and camphor combination at a hearty 12% provides the clarifying, camphorous, and herbaceous synergy that differs from true Chamomiles, making it an essential anchor for hyper-reactive skin. The unique presence of camphor creates a beautifully cooling blend that elegantly takes the heat out of puffiness and quells under-eye fatigue. Aromatically, it is a superhero skin-savior that smells like a sun-warmed orchard of wild apples and honey. Lavender Oil — Lavandula angustifolia Lovely Lavender is a gentle-yet-hearty skin tonic that restores and calms the delicate skin of the eyelids and under-eye area. Its chemistry is steeped in the soothing synergy of linalool and linalyl acetate, monoterpenols and esters known for their agile ability to relax redness and cool heat. Lavender acts as a molecular harmonizer, improving the appearance of fine lines, evening out skin tone, and equilibrating sebum production. It is an essential ingredient for shifting the skin from a state of reactive stress to one of calm, dermal homeostasis. Frankincense — Boswellia carterii A sacred sentinel of skin, Frankincense is the "Ancient Olibanum" of the desert. Extolled across millennia in ceremonies and the Egyptian pharmacopeia, our Frankincense is distilled via supercritical CO2 extraction to capture extra antioxidant molecules, specifically incensole and incensole acetate, that are often lost in standard steam distillation. These rare diterpenes function as dermal pacifiers, communicating directly with the skin’s receptors to relax the appearance of puffiness and soothe blemishes. Imbued with calming beta-caryophyllene and limonene, this resinous nectar also contains multifaceted monoterpenes, including alpha-pinene and alpha-thujene, creating a molecular sealant for the appearance of fine lines, shadows, and crow's feet. This molecular mastery explains why Frankincense has been historically revered as the seminal skin salve through the centuries for smoothing the skin’s textural memory. Cape Chamomile — Eriocephalus punctulatus Captivating Cape Chamomile emits mesmerizing molecules of comfort and care. This essence is steam-distilled from the fluffy-flowering tops grown wild in the Cape of Good Hope, capturing an oil with an enchanting aquamarine hue. Cape Chamomile's solace and skin salvation stems from a unique constellation of chemical components. Like its European cousin, German Chamomile, it contains compounds that transform into chamazulene during distillation, providing its signature light blue hue and heat-quenching capability. What sets the Cape variety apart is its copious concentration of rare esters, specifically isobutyl angelate and isoamyl angelate. These "angelic" esters, combined with structural sesquiterpenes, create a distinctively sweet, fruity, and ethereal-floral fragrance that surrenders the skin to a state of restorative calm. Sweet Thyme — Thymus linalool The Linalool Luminary. Known as the "gentle giant" of the Thyme world, this chemotype is defined by its high concentration of linalool, a monoterpenol. Differing from the potent phenols (thymol and carvacrol) found in other Thyme varieties, linalool is exceptionally mild and non-irritating. It provides surgical precision in purifying pores while functioning as a powerful tonic for the skin’s immunity. This "sweet" chemistry makes it a treasured ingredient for fortifying delicate, thin complexions around the eyes without disrupting the fragile skin barrier.
