Traces are what attach the horse to the vehicle. They are buckled into the end of the breastplate and attached at the other end to the carriage tree. Note that separate traces are not required when using Zilco ZGB harness, as the ZGB breastplate features integrated traces in its design. These traces are an optional choice for Classic harness sets. The open loop is designed for use with roller bolts or round single trees.
