Opel Blitz Maultier (covered)

The Opel Blitz Maultier (covered) miniature features the same half-track truck design as the original Opel Blitz Maultier, but with an added canvas cover over its cargo area. This version was commonly used to protect supplies from the elements during transport. Like the unshielded variant, it was designed for improved mobility in challenging terrain and was widely utilized by German forces during World War II, particularly on the Eastern Front. The covered version provided added protection for personnel and equipment while maintaining the vehicle’s ability to navigate through difficult conditions.
