Their size, shape, and clean profile can make them easy to spot in natural terrain and even easier for a trained eye to pick up. The OPE Gear Backpack Scrim is designed to help mitigate that by breaking up the outline of the pack and helping it blend more naturally into the surrounding environment. Each scrim is made in the USA from 500D certified Cordura, the same rugged materials trusted across military and outdoor equipment. The OPE Gear Backpack Scrim tactical backpack scrim provides lightweight concealment without permanently modifying your gear. The laser-cut design adds irregular texture and visual breakup to soften the profile of the pack, while still allowing local vegetation or added scrim to be used when more effective camouflage is needed. Built for practical field use, the Backpack Scrim is designed for packs and rucks in the 10-30L range and is verified to fit the Eberlestock Bandit and Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault Pack. Slip it over your pack, and it instantly adds texture and irregular shape that helps soften the profile of the bag. It packs flat, deploys quickly, and gives you a simple way to reduce the visual signature of your loadout when moving, staging gear, or setting a pack down in the field. How to Setup Your Backpack Scrim Prep the Scrim - Pull the scrim outward from each side to fully flare it open and prepare it for deployment. Mount Over Your Pack - With the shock cord facing down, pull the scrim over the pack completely, working it over the full profile of the bag. Cinch and Secure - Pull the shock cord end to tighten the scrim snugly around the pack, locking it in place. Your Backpack Scrim is set. Deploy and go.
