only speak in glory

There’s a shift that happens when you stop recounting the hard part. When you choose to speak from the win—even before it’s fully here. Not as performance. Not to pretend. But because you know where you’re headed. And it’s good. To only speak on glory is to build from the proof that things can go right. Sometimes the way in which I process words hits me so deep, I must lay felt to canvas so I can touch the words that made me feel them. This singled out phrase comes from Tylor The Creator's newest album “Don’t Tap The Glass” This pennant is agreement with yourself to speak from the place of power— not pain. It’s naming your joy without apology. It’s honoring your faith in all the goodness that’s already yours. It’s making space for what’s already on its way. Hang it where you make plans. Where you check in with yourself. Where you stay rooted in what’s possible. Where you can be reminded to speak only in glory to other & self.
