One Touch 6mm Pneumatic Fitting Plug Insert

The One Touch Fitting Plug Insert for 6mm OD pneumatic fittings is a compact and essential accessory designed to protect unused or disconnected air fittings from contamination, dust ingress, and accidental leaks. Built from durable industrial-grade thermoplastic, this insert is compatible with any standard push-to-connect fitting used in pneumatic systems and automation setups. Key Features: Secure Push-In Fit for 6mm Pneumatic Fittings: Designed to fit snugly into 6mm one-touch fittings, this plug ensures an airtight seal to close off unused ports. It prevents pressure loss and contamination in systems requiring periodic reconfiguration or maintenance. Durable and Lightweight Construction: Made from high-strength thermoplastic, the plug resists cracking, fatigue, and chemical degradation—ideal for industrial use in high-cycle environments. Contamination & Dust Protection: When fittings are exposed, contaminants such as dust, moisture, and particles can compromise system performance. This insert acts as a protective dust cap, extending equipment lifespan and improving reliability. Easy Installation and Removal: The plug’s low-profile, knurled grip allows for quick manual insertion and removal without the need for tools, simplifying service procedures or storage prep. Reusable & Cost-Effective: Fully reusable across multiple cycles, making it a sustainable and economical choice for modular pneumatic systems or frequently serviced equipment. Applications: Industrial Pneumatic Systems: Air lines on filling machines, conveyors, and actuators Manifold blanks and temporarily disconnected air fittings Automation & Assembly: Robotics or pick-and-place units Machine setups under maintenance Preventative Maintenance & Equipment Storage: Capping ports during cleaning, shipping, or storage to maintain cleanliness and safety
