On Women’s Cloud X 5 Ivory/Ice

The On Women’s Cloud X 5 is a versatile training shoe built for athletes who move seamlessly between the gym, short runs, HIIT workouts, functional fitness, and everyday wear. Designed for dynamic movement, this fifth-generation model introduces greater flexibility and improved comfort while maintaining the responsive feel that has made the Cloud X series a favorite among fitness enthusiasts. Whether you’re lifting weights, tackling circuit training, or heading out for a quick run, the Cloud X 5 delivers lightweight performance with the stability needed for multidirectional movement. At the core of the Cloud X 5 is On’s training-optimized CloudTec® cushioning, paired with a Helion™ superfoam midsole. This combination provides soft landings and responsive energy return while maintaining the stability required for explosive workouts. Unlike heavily cushioned running shoes, the Cloud X 5 balances comfort with ground feel, giving athletes confidence during strength training, agility drills, and cardio sessions. The updated midsole also incorporates CleanCloud® technology, which transforms captured carbon emissions into high-performance foam for a more sustainable approach to cushioning. One of the most significant updates to the Cloud X 5 is the removal of the traditional Speedboard®. In its place, On has introduced deeper flex grooves and a sculpted footbed that allow the shoe to flex more naturally with the foot. This design enhances mobility during lunges, squats, burpees, and other multidirectional exercises while preserving the support needed for short road runs and active everyday movement. The engineered open-mesh upper delivers breathable comfort to help keep feet cool through intense workouts. Additional padding around the tongue and heel enhances step-in comfort, while the secure heel construction helps minimize movement inside the shoe during lateral exercises. Standard laces allow for a customizable fit, and the lightweight construction—approximately 290 grams (10.2 ounces)—makes the Cloud X 5 feel agile without sacrificing durability. A durable rubber outsole provides dependable traction on gym floors, pavement, and indoor training surfaces. The outsole pattern is specifically designed to support side-to-side movements, giving athletes confidence during agility drills and functional training while remaining comfortable enough for everyday wear. The On Women’s Cloud X 5 is an excellent choice for athletes seeking one shoe that can handle a wide variety of workouts. Combining CloudTec® cushioning, Helion™ superfoam, enhanced flexibility, and breathable comfort, it delivers the versatility, support, and lightweight performance needed for training, running, and active daily life.
