Cloud X 5 (Women)

Energize Every Session — The Training Shoe Built to Move With You The On Cloud X 5 is a women's cross-training shoe built for the athlete who demands performance across every dimension of a workout — from explosive HIIT circuits and lateral agility drills to short transitional runs and studio sessions. The most evolved Cloud X yet, the 5 introduces a game-changing update: the removal of the Speedboard in favor of deeper flex grooves and a new sculpted footbed that delivers more natural, unrestricted movement without sacrificing support. Add CleanCloud technology in the midsole — On's first use of carbon-emission-derived foam — a Helion superfoam base, and training-optimized CloudTec cushioning, and the Cloud X 5 is the training shoe that keeps up with everything you throw at it. True to size, made with recycled polyester, and built in Vietnam. Engineered Open Mesh Upper — Breathable, Padded, and Locked In The Cloud X 5 features an engineered open mesh upper crafted from recycled polyester — a lightweight, highly breathable construction that keeps the foot cool and well-ventilated during high-intensity training sessions where heat buildup is a real factor. The minimal, sleek design keeps the silhouette clean and versatile enough to transition effortlessly from the gym floor to the street, while the low-profile build makes it easy to toss in a gym bag without adding bulk. Additional padding in both the tongue and collar delivers a noticeably more cushioned, wraparound fit that holds the foot securely in place during the lateral, multi-directional movements that define cross-training — jump squats, side shuffles, burpees, and everything in between. The reinforced heel construction provides excellent heel hold during these multilateral movements, reducing slippage and keeping the shoe firmly in place when the training gets intense. Standard lacing provides a fully adjustable, personalized fit across different foot widths. CleanCloud Midsole, Helion Superfoam, Training-Optimized CloudTec The engineering heart of the Cloud X 5 is its next-generation midsole — a multi-layered performance platform that represents meaningful advances over its predecessor. For the first time in the Cloud X line, On has incorporated CleanCloud technology in the midsole foam — a proprietary process that transforms captured carbon emissions into a high-performance foam compound, reducing dependency on virgin fossil fuel-derived materials without compromising cushioning performance. The Helion superfoam base provides the midsole's foundational flexibility and stability — a fine-tuned compound that rebounds quickly underfoot and supports the foot's natural movement through the wide range of motions that cross-training demands. Training-optimized CloudTec pods on the outsole deliver targeted cushioning and impact absorption with every landing, while deeper flex grooves throughout the forefoot — the key structural change from the Cloud X 4 — maximize the shoe's flexibility and promote smooth, natural transitions during both linear and lateral movements. The new sculpted footbed replaces the previous Speedboard, cradling the foot in a secure, supportive form that adds confidence through every workout without restricting natural movement. A rubber outsole provides reliable multi-directional traction for side-to-side movements on gym floors and studio surfaces.
