On Cloudvista 2 'Glacier Eclipse' (3ME30110818)

On Cloudvista 2 'Glacier Eclipse'The On Cloudvista 2 in Glacier Eclipse is built for terrain that doesn't forgive hesitation — and colored for the moment when the sky itself becomes the most dramatic thing on the mountain. The Cloudvista 2 is On's trail-optimized platform: aggressive grip, protective structure, and the CloudTec® cushioning system tuned for uneven ground, technical descents, and the kind of surfaces where every footstrike is a decision. Glacier Eclipse is the colorway that belongs on that terrain. Glacier Eclipse ColorwayA glacier eclipse is one of the rarest atmospheric events in mountain environments — the moment when the sun passes behind the moon directly above a field of ice, and the glacier itself seems to go dark while still glowing from within, lit by the corona of the obscured sun. Glacier brings the palette of high-altitude ice: a cool, luminous blue-white that reads differently in direct light versus shadow, shifting the way glacial ice shifts — from pale silver to deep blue depending on the angle and the hour. Eclipse then introduces the shadow: a deep, absorbing dark that moves across the upper the way totality moves across a landscape — not erasing the Glacier beneath it, but transforming it. Together, they create a colorway that is simultaneously cold and dramatic, natural and otherworldly — the visual language of a mountain at the exact moment the sky changes everything.
