Omron HBF514 Monitor - Full Body Sensor / Fat Analyzer / Muscle Scale

Know Your Body The Omron HBF-514C is a scale and body fat sensor all in one. The 514 features a handheld screen to send electricity from hand to foot. This system is more accurate than hands or feet alone, and far more accurate than most external fat calipers. Features 7 fitness indicators, body fat percent, visceral fat, BMI, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, body age, and body weight. The Full Body Sensor Body Composition Monitor and Scale is easy to use. The monitor calculates the estimated values for body fat percentage, skeletal muscle percentage, resting metabolism and visceral fat level using the BI (Bio electrical Impedance) Method. The monitor also calculates the BMI (Body Mass Index) and body age as well as weight. Push the power switch on, select your Personal Profile Number, and step onto the measurement platform. The personal memory function can be used to store data for up to four personal profiles. The memory function stores the measurement results for each personal profile from 1 day, 7 days, 30 days and 90 days ago, along with high and low readings for each type of measurement result. About this item Body-fat percentage - If you’re losing weight, tracking your body fat percentage lets you know you’re trimming the fat as opposed to losing other kinds of weight Body-mass index (BMI) - This indicator is calculated from your height and weight and is a measure of overall body fat. The higher the BMI, the greater the chance for possible health risks Skeletal muscle - burns 22% of all calories, so it’s important to build and maintain. It’s also beneficial to your diet and exercise routine, helping to prevent rebound weight gain and avoid injury. Resting metabolism- Regardless of activity level, a minimum level of caloric intake is required to sustain your body’s everyday functions. Knowing your resting metabolism helps you plan your diet according to your weight loss or maintenance needs Visceral fat - Visceral fat surrounds the vital organs in the abdomen. Since it cannot be seen from the outside, it often goes undetected. Excessive visceral fat may lead to high cholesterol, heart disease and type-2 diabetes.
