Olympus Thin Sashiko Thread, #210 Cobalt Blue

Half the Width, Four Times the Length This three-ply sashiko thread from Olympus is perfect for adding more detail to your stitched designs. Regular, six-ply sashiko thread is too bulky for some intermediate and expert-level sashiko designs; this thinner version is great for getting into those tight spaces and making lots of repeating lines, all with perfect definition. Also great for hand-sewing and mending, Olympus Thin Sashiko Thread is wound on a convenient ball. Unlike skeins, these don't tangle or require any special setup before use. Extra long — these sashiko thread balls have 80 meters (88 yards) each. That's enough to stitch most sashiko samplers with just one ball. About Olympus Olympus has made cotton threads in Japan for more than a century. In 1908, the company started production of sewing threads, and in 1929 they began making their first embroidery flosses. Each chapter in Olympus' long history has been accompanied by technical advancements, making the threads stronger, more consistent, and more beautiful with each new era. Olympus threads are carefully produced for color consistency between batches, so fiber artists can rely on these products for the long term.
