The healing properties of olive leaves have been celebrated since ancient Egyptian and Greek times where the herb was a symbol of life and vitality. Today, olive leaves are gaining in popularity for their holistic use in protecting against and relieving infections and contributing to a longer and healthier life. The oleuropein component found in the plant, which keeps insects and bacteria from damaging the olive tree, has become known in the natural health community for its antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal qualities. Our fresh liquid extract offers superior absorption and therapeutic results over capsule or pill supplements. Prepared without binders and fillers, liquid supplements offer many benefits. Not only do they have a 10 times faster absorption rate, they also digest more readily for more effective results. More Information Did you know the olive leaf supplement’s active compound oleuropein is not only getting increased attention for its antiviral and antibacterial properties? It also shows promises for helping to lower blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid build-up. Further, it is being researched for conditions linked to the common cold, flu, Herpes, shingles, Candida albicans, and other germs and pathogens. Fresh olive leaf extract contains a higher concentration of oleuropeins than any other food or supplement derived from the olive tree. This is why we at AnnaKare added olive leaf extract made from fresh leaves and presented as liquid drops to our line of highest-quality natural health products. Anna’s Story: I grew up in an Austrian family in love with the Mediterranean diet. The fruit, leaves, and twigs of the olive tree were all cured, boiled, or in other ways prepared to reap their healing benefits. We also used olive oil for cooking. When I heard about the effectiveness of olive leaf extract supplements, I started to add it to my regular health rituals. Specifically, I like to add a daily dose of our pure extract to my afternoon pick-me-up smoothie. It is also a crucial part of my bi-annual detoxification routine.
