OD Green (Olive Drab) M65 Field Jacket The M65 field jacket has had a long service record spanning well over 50 years. Originally produced in Olive Drab, these jackets first entered service in the late 1950s, replacing the M51. Some may argue the roots of this iconic design first originated in 1943, with the early production of the M43 field jacket, and they are right! Rock one of America's most historical field jackets! The jacket was originally designed to provide the wearer with an ideal garment for any climate in a 2 layer system. These jackets come with a cold weather quilted liner, can be removed, and both liner or jacket can be worn as a stand alone jacket. Cool 2 in 1 combo!  Water-repellent poly/cotton twill outer shell provides protection from wind, rain, and snow. Concealable drawstring hood can be easily stored inside the collar with brass zipper closer. Four basic outer pockets with snap closer for easy access. Heavy duty brass zipper and 6 snap closer storm flap to keep the elements out, adjustable drawstring waist cord for a great conforming fit.
