Old Vine Wine Kits – Master Vintner® Sommelier Select® Two Pack

Old Vine Wine Kit Two Pack Much of the vintner’s job happens in the field. With care, grape vines live for decades, producing richer and more flavorful fruit as they age. With Master Vintner Sommelier Select you can reap the rewards of the vintner’s craft and make these two beautiful old vine reds at home. The Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon and Old Vine Merlot can be enjoyed on their own, or you could wow your friends and family with your very own old vine red blend. Old Vine Merlot Old vines produce intense, concentrated grapes. This Merlot goes past plum, raspberry, and strawberry fruit to dense blackcurrant, pepper, and spice. The full body and lush, integrated tannins enfold deep oak notes of smoke and toast. The full, elegant finish goes on long after the last sip is gone. Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon The blackberry, blackcurrant, and jammy notes give way to pepper, mint, cedar, and black cherry. Dense and dark, with rock-ribbed tannins when young, it will round out to a smooth, lustrous finish that goes on forever at its peak. *This recipe kit uses a RealGrape pack to boost flavor and body. Because the grape skins are not dried, they take up more space in your fermentor. This recipe requires the larger 7.9 gallon wine fermentor.
