And don’t worry, to fuel that trip down memory lane, we have topped off the crate with loads of nostalgic candies. Old School Toys Magic 8 Ball: The Magic 8 Ball is a plastic sphere that looks like an oversized eight ball, used for fortune-telling or seeking advice. It was invented in 1946 by Albert C. Rubick's Cube: Rubik's Cube consists of 26 small cubes that rotate on a central axis; nine colored cube faces, in three rows of three each, form each side of the cube. When the cube is twisted out of its original arrangement, the player must then return it to the original configuration—one among 43 quintillion possible ones. Duncan Butterfly Yo-Yo: Butterfly is the original, wide-body/flared shape yo-yo and is the best-selling string trick yo-yo of all time. Designed for beginner yo-yo players learning basic string tricks, Butterfly features a wide string gap and steel axle, making landing the yo-yo on the string much easier. Gyroscope: a wheel on an axle mounted inside a frame. You wind a string around the axle to make the wheel spin and then pull. Once it's spinning, the gyroscope behaves somewhat like a living thing. Superball: A superball or power ball is a bouncy ball composed of a type of synthetic rubber (originally a hard elastomer polybutadiene alloy named Zectron) invented in 1964. Pez Dispenser: A regular dispenser is just a rectangular box with a contoured flip-top for dispensing the candy. Toy character head dispensers were introduced in 1955 after candy was introduced in the United States. There are over 550 unique dispenser heads with thousands of variations. Pop Rocks: (Introduced 1975) Pop Rocks, also called popping candy, is owned by Zeta Espacial S.A. Pop Rocks ingredients include sugar, lactose (milk sugar), and flavoring. It differs from typical hard candy in that pressurized carbon dioxide gas bubbles are embedded inside of the candy, creating a small popping reaction when it dissolves. Big League Chew: (Introduced 1977) shredded bubble gum in a stay-fresh pouch. The first batch was handmade at Todd's house on Feb. 6th, 1979 (Babe Ruth's birthday!). Big League Chew hit retail shelves less than a year later and instantly became a fan favorite across America.
