Old Rip Van Winkle 18 Year Blue Smoke Bourbon

Old Rip Van Winkle 18 Year Blue Smoke Bourbon (750ML) Old Rip Van Winkle 18 Year Blue Smoke is a legendary private bottling created by Julian Van Winkle III exclusively for the Blue Smoke restaurant in New York City. Named after the iconic curl of smoke rising from perfectly smoked barbecue, this release has become one of the most revered Van Winkle bottlings ever produced. Bottled during the highly significant 2003 era, Blue Smoke stands alongside other iconic private labels from the same period and is widely considered part of bourbon history’s most elite group. While official bottle counts and sourcing were never confirmed, the bourbon is widely speculated to be distilled at the historic Stitzel Weller distillery, with some suggesting possible Hirsch sourced whiskey based on proof and bottling practices of the era. Regardless of origin, Blue Smoke is universally recognized for its extraordinary age elegance and rarity. Produced in extremely limited quantities, it remains one of the most sought after Van Winkle releases ever bottled.
