Old Joe - Button Front Campbell Jacket

This front-button award jacket draws inspiration from vintage athletic archives, distilling their essence into a clean, letterless design that feels both timeless and modern. The bouclé melton, developed with a contemporary sensibility, gives the piece a refined yet distinctive presence. The raglan construction creates a unique and expressive line, while the bouclé knit components—crafted by blending two different types of wool—add rich texture and depth. The three-piece sleeves are built using shrunken cowhide (nubuck), assembled with precision and then hand-finished one by one to enhance character and nuance in each garment. A rare detail can be found along the collar and hem rib seams, where tape finishing is applied—an element seldom seen today, further elevating the individuality and historical value of this piece. The fabric itself combines ring-spun yarn with Tasmanian cashmere–blend yarn, giving it a naturally textured surface. Instead of a traditional twill weave, a broken twill structure is used, resulting in an irregular appearance without visible diagonal lines. The material is then full-shrunken during finishing to achieve a substantial yet balanced weight. Blending classic athletic heritage with thoughtfully executed modern craftsmanship, this jacket stands as a truly exceptional, collectible garment. ***Each sleeve is finished with hand-applied light paint marks, giving the jacket the distinctive charm and character of vintage look.*** Material : Body: 86% Wool, 5% Cashmere , 9% Nylon Sleeves: Nubuck Cowhide Color: Onyx  Made in Japan
