Old Gold Juniper

Old Gold Juniper: Evergreen Color with a Golden Twist Old Gold Juniper brings year-round texture and warm, golden color to the landscape without asking for much in return. This Chinese Juniper features graceful, arching branches covered in evergreen, needle-like foliage, with bright yellow new growth at the tips that matures to a rich dark gold by mid-summer. Its broad branches rise through the center and gently curve downward at the ends, giving the shrub a soft, sculpted look that works beautifully in foundation plantings, borders, mass plantings, and mixed evergreen beds. Why You'll Love the Old Gold Juniper Golden evergreen color: Bright yellow new growth gives the shrub its signature warm glow. Year-round interest: Evergreen foliage keeps the garden looking full even in colder months. Graceful shape: Long, arching branches add soft structure without looking stiff. Low-maintenance beauty: A practical choice for adding color and texture with minimal fuss. Seasonal detail: Mature plants may produce small bluish-black, berry-like cones in fall. Great for containers: Use in large outdoor planters for golden color on patios, entries, or walkways. Old Gold Juniper does not produce showy flowers, and its berry-like cones are not edible, but its glowing foliage more than earns its keep. Plant one and let a little old-gold sunshine settle into your garden.
