Sunlight: Prefers partial to full shade; tolerates some morning sun but avoids harsh afternoon light. Soil: Grows best in moist, well-drained, rich organic soil. Water Needs: Moderate; prefers consistent moisture, especially in hot weather. Pruning: Remove any damaged or dead leaves throughout the season for a tidy appearance and trim back completely in the early spring as new growth is emerging.
