Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style Bourbon Whiskey

Presenting the third distinguished member of the Old Forester Whiskey Row Series, a curated experience beckoning bourbon enthusiasts to traverse the rich annals of Old Forester's heritage with each distinctive sip. The year 1920 ushered in the era of Prohibition, halting the production, transportation, and sale of alcoholic beverages. Yet, against the tide, Old Forester stood resilient. It was among the select six distilleries granted a permit to continue the sale of its bourbon for medicinal use. In homage to this defiant spirit, Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style was born. Crafted at a potent 115 Proof, this bourbon is a blend of select barrels, reminiscent of those that would have been batched at the dawn of Prohibition. The result is a bourbon that resonates with woodsy undertones and a comforting warmth. The Whiskey Row Series is not just a collection but a chronicle of Old Forester's pioneering journey. Each installment in the series celebrates pivotal moments and groundbreaking practices from the iconic Whiskey Row in Louisville. The 1920 Prohibition Style, with its robust proof and historical significance, encapsulates Old Forester's unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity. Whether savored neat or with a hint of water, this bourbon is a testament to resilience and craftsmanship.
