Old Fashioned Summer Sausage DIY Kit

Create delicious homemade Summer Sausage with our DIY Home Processing kit. Our easy-to-follow instructions and clean ingredients make it easy to create this top-quality snack at home. Enjoy the tangy, classic flavor of this Summer Sausage as-is, or craft a signature version by mixing in extra ingredients like Hi Temp Cheese, fruit, nuts, jalapenos, and more. We make ours with all beef, but you can use venison, elk or bison and mix partially with pork trim too! Aim for fat content totaling around 20% by weight. We've also included dried minced garlic, and if you'd like, add some jalapeno, red pepper, onion, sage (around 1-2 oz of most herbs & spices), or any combination you like into 25 lbs of meat.  Also great with our high temp cheeses mixed in!
