Okuma Tesoro Spinning Reels

Okuma Tesoro Spinning Reels Okuma’s new Tesoro Spinning reels have been built from the bottom up. Constructed with Okuma’s Alumilite body, side plate, and Cyclonic Flow Rotor construction for the ultimate in strength. With an IPX-7 full-body waterproof design, Tesoro Spinning reels are packed and sealed with features and protection. Featuring 12-HPB + 1-RB corrosion resistant stainless-steel bearings, coupled with an oversized brass main gear and a dual-bearing supported C-6191 brass pinion gear drive system. The raw stopping power comes from Tesoro’s Carbonite, high-output DFD drag system with Cal’s drag grease that puts out up to 55-pounds of pure fish stopping drag! This enormous drag pressure is handled by a custom frictionless titanium spool shaft that reduces flex and weight, providing smooth operation day in and day out.  A redundant dual anti-reverse system provides maximum strength and reliability. Tesoro Spinning reels have a rigid machined aluminum screw-in handle design provides direct feedback when turning the handle and locks solidly into place. All Tesoro models have an interchangeable screw-in handle system that can be changed from left to right-hand retrieve. A rotor brake system works in conjunction with the Tesoro’s manual bail trip design.   Model Gear Ratio Weight Line Retrieve per Crank Braided Line Capacity Maximum Drag TSR-4000XA 6.2:1 13.3oz 39.8”    230yds/15lb, 180yds/30lb 26lbs TSR-6000XA 6.2:1 15.8oz 41.3” 290yds/30lb, 195yds/50lb 33lbs TSR-8000HA 5.8:1 24.6oz 44.1” 475yds/40lb, 425yds/50lb 55lbs TSR-10000HA 5.8:1 25.2oz 49.6” 500yds/50lb, 330yds/65lb 55lbs TSR-14000HA 5.8:1 25.5oz 51.6” 450yds/65lb,  390yds/80lb 55lbs TSR-18000PA 4.4:1 32.7oz 41.7” 550yds/65lb,  450yds/80lb 55lbs TSR-20000PA 4.4:1 32.7oz 43.7” 700yds/65lb,  570yds/80lb 55lbs   Tesoro Spinning Reel Features: Alumilite body, sideplate and Cyclonic Flow rotor IPX-7 full body waterproof design for ultimate protection 12HPB + 1RB corrosion resistant stainless-steel bearings Carbonite high output DFD drag with Cal’s drag grease Specialized titanium spool shaft reduced flex and weight Dual anti-reverse for maximum strength and reliability Oversized brass main gear and C-6191 brass pinion gear Even Flow Line Roller system with DLC coating Rigid machined aluminum screw in handle design Carbon fiber handle knob for comfort and weight reduction Pinion gear: double supported with ball bearings Frictionless main shaft design provides smooth operation Machined aluminum screw in handle for maximum strength Rotor brake system works in conjunction with manual bail trip CRC: Corrosion Resistant Coating process Tesoro reels are backed by a 1-year limited warranty
