Oiled Quilting Liner Jacket - Oiled Black

From Victorian era curiosities to early 20th century equestrian and motorcycle wear to rare WW2 era items - Black Sign garments are beautifully constructed, with a shared identity and aesthetic cohesion running through the collection to a degree we rarely see in brands focusing on reproductions & recreations. Wearable as a standalone jacket or as a thermal button-in liner to Black Sign's British Oiled Cotton Rebel Coat, the Oiled Quilting Liner Jacket is an impressively technical garment, blending old world style with modern fabric and tailoring details into something new and exciting. Featuring a collarless neck, zip placket, and a relaxed fit throughout, it's a fantastic layering piece, with two roomy external patch pockets and a bunch of buttonholes that allow you to affix it inside a different jacket (specifically the one mentioned above). It's made from a 100% cotton padded and waxed ripstop fabric from British Millerain, a world-renowned manufacturer of oiled and waxed fabrics. Lightweight and water resistant, it packs impressive tensile strength and durability given its thickness and lack of heft, insulating well thanks to the quilted body. Inside, it's lined with Solar Sensor L, a polyester fabric with antistatic and thermoregulatory properties that help keep you comfortable whether you're wearing these as a thermal layer or as a standalone jacket. Fits true to size. Dry clean only. 100% cotton body Padded and quilted waxed ripstop fabric from British Millerain Co.
