Ohto CR01 Ceramic Roller

The CR01 is the flagship of OHTO's premium CR (Ceramic Roller) line, and the matte finish is where it really "shines." A smooth, coated aluminum body with brass accents gives the pen real heft and a refined, understated look, while the soft matte texture adds grip and a satisfying feel in hand. Available in four colorways — Matte Black, Matte Silver, Matte Wine, and Matte Blue — so you can pick the one that fits your style. Designed and assembled in-house at OHTO's Yuki Plant in Japan, the CR01 is built to last. A secure snap cap closes with a firm, reassuring click, the metal clip has just the right amount of flex, and a rubberized grip section keeps writing comfortable during long sessions.  At the tip is a 0.5mm silicon carbide ceramic ball, paired with OHTO's non-dry C-305 refill — so it resists drying out even when left uncapped. The ceramic point gives a writing feel with just the right amount of feedback, not too smooth and not too scratchy, and holds up to far more wear than a standard metal tip.
