Öhlins offers four different crown sets for DH38 suspension fork that differ in offset allowing riders to further customize their ride. Offset is the distance between the wheel axle and the steerer tube and affects how the bike steers by changing the “trail” dimension. There are three different offsets: 46mm 50mm 54mm and 58mm. Typically shorter offsets are more stable but require more steering input to change direction. The opposite is true too; the longer the offset the easier it is to steer but it will be less stable at speed.
