Ohio Flame Liberty Fire Pit with Hollow Base – Made in USA Steel

Rooftop decks and elevated patios often come with weight restrictions that rule out heavier fire features entirely, but the Liberty Fire Pit with Hollow Base is built specifically to work around that constraint. It keeps the same bold, linear styling and thick American steel construction as the rest of the Liberty line, just engineered lighter through its hollow base design. For hosts managing elevated or structurally-limited outdoor spaces, it's a fire feature that fits where others simply can't. The Liberty Fire Pit — Bold, Linear Design in a Lighter Hollow Base Not every outdoor space can support a heavy, solid-base fire pit, and that's exactly the gap the Hollow Base configuration is built to fill. It carries the same bold and linear styling that defines the Liberty line, crafted from thick carbon American steel by a local artisan. The difference is in the base itself, which trims meaningful weight without trimming the design or the durability. A Hollow Base Built for Rooftop Decks and Weight-Restricted Surfaces The Hollow Base construction measurably reduces the fire pit's overall weight compared to the Standard Base version, at every shared size. That difference matters most on rooftop decks, elevated patios, and second-story outdoor spaces where load limits are a real constraint on what furniture and fire features can go there. For hosts managing properties with those restrictions, it opens up a fire feature option that might otherwise be off the table. The Same Lifetime Warranty and Rain Drain System Hosts Trust The Hollow Base doesn't mean a lighter warranty or a compromised build — this Liberty Fire Pit still includes the built-in Rain Drain for water drainage and ships with the 4" Round Blocking Plate and Standard Length Centering Tee to close it off if preferred. It's backed by Ohio Flame's Lifetime Warranty, the same guarantee that covers every Liberty configuration. Hosts get the weight savings without giving up any of the long-term durability the line is known for. Why the Hollow Base Fits Elevated and Space-Conscious STR Setups Properties with rooftop terraces, upper-level decks, or converted balcony spaces need furniture and fire features engineered around structural realities, not just aesthetics. The Hollow Base Liberty gives hosts a way to bring a full-size, design-forward fire feature into those spaces without exceeding load capacity. It's the kind of consideration that matters most for urban STR properties and multi-level outdoor layouts. Lighter Weight Without Sacrificing the Liberty's Bold Silhouette Even with the reduced weight, the Hollow Base Liberty keeps the same clean, geometric lines that make the Liberty line stand out from a traditional round fire pit. It photographs the same way in listing galleries and holds the same visual presence on a deck or patio. The only difference guests will notice is that it fits in more places than a heavier fire pit could. Five Sizes to Fit Everything from a Rooftop Nook to a Group Deck Space The Hollow Base Liberty comes in five sizes, from a 24" diameter suited to a compact rooftop nook up to a 48" diameter for larger elevated gathering spaces. Each size carries the same weight advantage over its Standard Base counterpart, so hosts can scale up without scaling into a load-limit problem. That flexibility makes it easier to furnish elevated spaces of nearly any size. For STR Hosts: A Design Statement That Works Within Structural Limits Hosts managing rooftop or elevated STR properties often have to rule out fire features entirely once weight limits enter the picture, and the Hollow Base Liberty solves that without asking hosts to compromise on style. It's a fire feature that still reads as a design centerpiece in listing photos while respecting the practical limits of an elevated structure. That combination makes it one of the few real fire pit options for upper-level outdoor spaces.
